Qualified from UMDS Guys hospital in 1997 and worked at Queensbury Dental Surgery since 1998. She has been Principal Dentist and proud Practice owner since 2005. Meera has enjoyed many aspects of being a dentist for the local community for over 20 years especially the strong family feel of the practice.
She provides both Nhs and Private treatment and her special interest lies in minimally invasive composite veneers and cosmetic treatment . She successfully completed the Advanced aesthetics course with Chris Orr and the Totally Composite and Totally Maestro Composite courses with Monik Vasant. She now looks forward to starting the Totally Aesthetic diploma with Monik Vasant, Meera is also an Invisalign-go provider.
Beyond dentistry Meera is married with 2 daughters. Her interests include baking and badminton.

Arunthana qualified from King’s College London in 2011 and has since been working in general practice. She is dedicated to educating her patients to achieve optimal oral health as well as provide high quality pain-free dentistry. Her calm and gentle nature has helped many nervous patients overcome their fears and make their dental visits a pleasurable experience.
Arunthana enjoys all aspects of dentistry, in particular cosmetic and minimally invasive dentistry in which she has completed an Advanced Aesthetics and Restorative dentistry course at Aspire Dental Academy. This enable her to use simple cosmetic fillings, crowns and whitening treatments to restore a patient’s smile with the latest techniques and materials. She is also a certified Invisalign provider, able to straighten teeth with clear cosmetic braces.

Sarika qualified from The University of Manchester in 2013 and has been working in general practice since. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but particularly enjoys treating children and nervous patients, helping to make them feel comfortable and overcome any fears. She is a certified provider of Invisalign Go, and is able to straighten teeth with clear, cosmetic braces.
Sarika has successfully completed the Advanced Aesthetics and Restorative Dentistry course with the Aspire Dental Academy and can provide options for cosmetic dentistry including tooth whitening and cosmetic restorations.
Outside of dentistry, Sarika is married with a young daughter and enjoys spending time with her family, travelling and baking.

Rubi qualified from King’s College London in 2006 and has gained valuable experience in both NHS and Private dentistry. She has successfully completed post-graduate qualifications including a Diploma in Endodontics at the prestigious UCL Eastman dental institute and post-graduate certificates in Sedation and Pain Management and in Dental Education.
Rubi is qualified as a dentist with Special Interest in Endodontics and is able to provide complex root canal treatments at Queensbury Dental Surgery
In her spare time Rubi enjoys swimming, cinema, travel and spending time with her family and her beloved dog.

Dipesh qualified from King’s College London Dental School and has committed his career to oral surgery. Since graduating, Dipesh has undertaken his oral surgery training at the prestigious Guy’s Hospital in London where he has been mentored by some of the leading consultants in the field. Dipesh has also completed further training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Queen Victoria Hospital in Portsmouth. His passion and commitment to oral surgery successfully secured him a place onto the competitive national specialist training program which he is currently undertaking in Buckinghamshire.
Dipesh has published his work in a number of peer reviewed journals and has been invited internationally and nationally to present his research within oral surgery. He also developed a passion for teaching and has been involved in teaching undergraduate students and postgraduate dental trainees in oral surgery.
Dipesh’s clinical practice is limited to oral surgery and his main interest is dental alveolar surgery including surgical extractions and the removal of impacted wisdom teeth. He also takes private referrals from all local practitioners.
Outside of oral surgery, Dipesh has a strong passion for sports in particular cricket and travelling the world.

Amish studied dentistry at Guys King’s and St Thomas’ Hospital. He graduated with a distinction and honours in 2008. In his time there, he received certificates of excellence in Conservative Dentistry and Dental Radiography and an Oral Biology Poster Presentation award.
He has successfully acquired the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties from the Royal College of Surgeons (England), which is a testament to his commitment to continual education. From an early stage in his career, he developed an interest in dental implants. He was taught and mentored by some of the most prestigious implantologists in the world. He has been placing dental implants since 2011 and formalised his training by acquiring the coveted Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh).
He now lectures for the BioHorizons Implant Company in the UK, and mentors dentists who are starting to perform implant treatments. He has also been interviewed regarding his success in implant dentistry for an article that was published in Dentistry magazine.
Amish has a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry and has completed an Advanced Certificate in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry. This has enabled him to deliver fantastic results to his patients for both general and implant treatments. He combined his passion for dentistry with his devotion to teaching by becoming a trainer for newly qualified dentists as they embarked upon their profession. He held this post with Health Education England until 2017. To assist him with his teaching, he has also completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Dental Education.
In 2017, Amish was recognized for his achievements as one of the finalists for the award for Best Young Dentist in London.
Amish is a friendly and caring dentist who always puts his patients first. He receives excellent feedback from patients and is committed to the highest standards in the treatments he provides. When he’s not busy being a dentist, Amish is often at the gym, loves to travel and enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.

Kajal qualified from the university of Manchester in 2013 and has undertaken additional postgraduate training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Royal Surrey County Hospital. She has gained further postgraduate qualifications with a diploma in Primary Dental Care and MFDS RCS (Royal College of Surgeons).
Kajal enjoys providing all aspects of dentistry and has a keen interest in oral surgery. She takes pride in providing quality and ethical treatment for her patients. She is also qualified in skin rejuvenation procedures and is a provider of wrinkle relaxing treatment (botulinum toxin) and dermal fillers.
Kajal splits her time between general practice and emergency dental care. Outside of dentistry, Kajal enjoys keeping fit, travelling and skiing during the winter.
Anita Hirani • Hygiene Therapist

Anita Hirani is our Practice Manager and Dental Hygienist/Therapist. Anita has been part of the Queensbury Dental Surgery team since 2002. She started off as a Dental Nurse and receptionist, she then went on to train as a Hygienist and Therapist at Barts & The London School of Medicine and Dentistry (Queen Mary University of London) and qualified in 2016 and was awarded highest commendation for her communication skills.
Anita received specialist training to help patients with tailored oral health advice and carry out the appropriate treatments according to patients’ individual needs to help prevent and control gum disease using ultrasonic scalers and hand instruments. Local anaesthetic can also be used where necessary. She is truly passionate about helping patients gain a good understanding about their own mouths and what gum disease is and how to achieve good oral hygiene and understand all the factors involved in achieving a healthy mouth and gain good results. Smoking cessation advice and dietary advice are among these. Patients are encouraged to work with her to reach their goal. It is very important for us all to practice good oral hygiene and a good diet in order to prevent cavities and prevent gum disease or control its progression. Here at Queensbury Dental Surgery Anita and the dentists closely work alongside each other to motivate patients’ and address any concerns. The dentists can refer patients to Anita or they can visit her directly (It is however always advisable to see a dentist regularly).
